Richford Ice Jam

Almost every year in the Spring the ice on the Missisquoi River breaks up
and jams around Big Island in Richford, Vermont. The ice level under
the Richford bridge can get a little alarming. Here are some pictures
of the March 8, 2011 ice jam. This is the day after the big snowstorm.
